KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation (KNCV) is a leading non-governmental organization working in Global Tuberculosis (TB) Control. KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation has been active in TB control for over one hundred years both in the national and international context. As a non-profit organization KNCV is active in over 40 countries in Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia. KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is dependent on subsidies from Government and other sources, as well as private contributions through fundraising. The central office is located in The Hague, The Netherlands.
TB CARE I
The Tuberculosis Coalition for Technical Assistance (TBCTA) carries out the USAID funded TB CARE I project. The objective is to "Decrease morbidity and mortality by increasing case detection and treatment success of pulmonary TB patients in USAID priority countries". KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is the Prime Partner of TB CARE I.
Responsibilities:
Assist in coordination of administrative and financial issues of partners in the TB CARE I project, to ensure close monitoring of financial pipelines and adjustment of planning. Ensuring all administrative matters can be resolved within the set timelines and in accordance with the donor rules and regulations. Working closely with the finance and technical team to ensure financial tracking and reporting of the TB CARE I project, with all partners.
Job Qualifications:
• University degree
• 2-3 years' experience in project operations including finance,
• Working experience in non-profit organizations
• Experience working in projects with multiple partners
• ability to work with minimal supervision;
• ability to work under pressure and to respect often tight deadlines;
• ability to prioritize jobs
Competencies:
• Good communication skill
• Computer literate
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English
• Analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to grasp quickly complex programming and budgeting in a range of programmatic issues
• Excellent in excel, financial reports and graphs
• Writing skills
• Understanding of basic USAID rules and regulations
