Our client Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) Oil & Gas in Jakarta is seeking for : SENIOR SAFETY ENGINEER
REQUIREMENT
* Bachelor degree in Engineer or Health Safety and Environmental
* Minimum 8 years experience as Senior Safety Engineering
* More than 8 years in Engineering Design /Oil & Gas sector is
preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SAFETY ENGINEER :
* Coordinate safety engineering studies and field safety surveys.
* Provide technical fire and safety services to oil and gas production, transport, gas processing and support functions.
* Recommend loss control methods, procedures and programs to identify and eliminate unsafe conditions and acts in planned and existing facilities.
* Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of fire and safety programs, procedures and standards and recommend modifications as needed to achieve cost effectiveness.
* Serve as a 'on-call Standby officer' for response to emergency situations and incidents throughout the company operation areas include Jakarta office.
* Serve as a consultant to purchasing, standards, and methods to incorporate the applicable safety and health requirements in all purchasing and contracting specification.
* Establish and maintain a good relations with the government officials to smooth the company operations.
